Stand up for Equality: make your views known

On 15th May the Government's Equalities Office announced a consultation on repealing, or not bringing into effect, sections of the Equality Act 2010.

Northamptonshire Rights and Equality Council has developed a site to assist you in making representations on proposed changes which include the repealing of protect from third party harassment, the repealing of the wider powers of tribunals, and the withdrawal of use of equality questionnaires. Further details on the proposals can be found on the site
http://www.defendequality.co.uk/

The site will enable you to write to your MP and to the Government Equalities Office on the consultation in one fell swoop and suggests some word you might wish to use.
