Explaining the data
These figures are taken from the UNICEF Innocenti Report Card, an annual comparison of living standards for children and young people in advanced economies. The figures are from 2012 (child poverty) and 2013 (young people not in education, training or employment) because these are the figures used in the most recent version of the report.
