Yes, happy to consider writing blogs on racist tree branches and traffic lights, but I think there may be more serious issues arising over the next few months that won't be laughing matters.

PaulPaul Croftshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13807075315953688979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-390653757053553954.post-27802515674420485132010-10-05T21:42:59.111+01:002010-10-05T21:42:59.111+01:00Great post Paul!
Your blog, along with the Daily ...Great post Paul!
Your blog, along with the Daily Mash and Order-Order is my favourite parody website. You just know all the right hang ups and stereotypes of the hysterical far left, i can't think why you did so badly in the general election. I guess the world just isnt ready for your deep satirical wit!

Im looking foward to further hilarious posts in the months ahead. Heres some idea's ive been brainstorming - racist tree branches falling on Wellingborough Polish communities. Or errant traffic lights holding up black motorists!Paul Crofts for Comedian of the year 2010!!!noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-390653757053553954.post-38509926937031462792010-09-27T09:23:20.818+01:002010-09-27T09:23:20.818+01:00You could say the same thing about crime (isn'...You could say the same thing about crime (isn't this also - at least mainly - motived by greed too?). Isn't it a "crime" for one section of society (the reletively rich) to rip-off and exploit the rest of society?

Does that mean we don't do anything - such as passing laws against it and punishing people (in a variety of ways) who don't play by the rules. You don't need Gulags (or any other fundamental breach of human rights)to do this!Paul Croftshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13807075315953688979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-390653757053553954.post-194601068158406282010-09-24T20:58:05.193+01:002010-09-24T20:58:05.193+01:00Maybe in some kind of ideal utopia, but there will...Maybe in some kind of ideal utopia, but there will always be those that are motivated by greed that will look to profit from any given situation... unless you put them all in a Gulag of course!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-390653757053553954.post-16484689295440548552010-09-24T15:09:35.615+01:002010-09-24T15:09:35.615+01:00All I would like, to start with, are the roads and...All I would like, to start with, are the roads and pavements in one part of Wellington to be repaired and maintained on an equitable and fair basis. I think I would describe this as "dealing with it". As this example illustrates inequality is not a given - it can be overcome - given political will and socio-economic change - both at a micro/local and macro/societal level.

It seems you are prepared to throw in the towel on this struggle and do not accept that inequality is created and maintained by those who benefit from it. This situation can, of course, be reversed - those who suffer injustice and ineqaulity can (ultimately) turn the tables.Paul Croftshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13807075315953688979noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-390653757053553954.post-9049264973336910622010-09-23T22:10:35.293+01:002010-09-23T22:10:35.293+01:00Life is not fair, deal with it.
